St Stephen’s Church, Ashill
Ashill is a small, friendly village which lies 1.5 miles from Uffculme. In 1882 the simple but attractive chapel of St Stephen’s was built to serve the people of Ashill, yet remains part of the parish of St Mary Uffculme. St Stephen’s is also one of the churches within the Culm Valley Mission Community. We are a warm and friendly congregation, and newcomers are always welcome.
St Stephen's Church
St Stephen's Church is located on Batts Park - one of the main roads in the village. If you are travelling from Uffculme, just continue straight on when you come into Ashill, and before long you will see the church on your left hand side. You can use the postcode EX15 3NJ to get you most of the way there, but look out for the church as you approach.
Rather than holding regular Sunday services, we go all-out for Festival services on special occasions (Harvest, Christmas etc). Look out for details advertised within the Spotlight magazine, the village e-newsletter, on the Ashill Friends facebook group, and on the St Stephen’s A Church Near You webpage:
Second Thursday of every month, 9:30am-10am. An opportunity to take a moment out of our lives to connect with God. All welcome!
