Parish Weekend 2011

St Mary’s Uffculme Weekend Away (At Home!)

Friday 7th – Sunday 9th October

Discovering your gifts, vocation and talents Guest Speaker Revd Philip Sourbutt

Help is needed so that we can create a space for God to work in and through us over the weekend.

Lucy will be organizing the catering and will be looking for help

Offers of workshops would be brilliant

A prayer ministry team would be great and please start praying for the weekend

Help leading worship is needed

Please also pray we can also get someone to help with the children’s ministry (Selina is going to support the youth within the adult programme)

Contributions to help cover the costs will be requested

Friday night Venue: a surprise!

Lucy will be organizing a safari supper. A chance to enjoy a meal and get to know new people from the church community.

Please sign up if you can offer a starter, main meal or pudding for a group of 6 - 8 people. Lucy will coordinate groups and special diets at each home. We will all gather at The Vicarage for coffee and chocolate at the end of the evening.
