St Mary’s Uffculme Weekend Away (At Home!) Friday 7th – Sunday 9th October Discovering your gifts, vocation and talents Guest Speaker Revd Philip Sourbutt Help is needed so that we can create a space for God to work in and through us over the weekend. Lucy will be organizing the catering and will be looking for help Offers of workshops would be brilliant A prayer ministry team would be great and please start praying for the weekend Help leading worship is needed Please also pray we can also get someone to help with the children’s ministry (Selina is going to support the youth within the adult programme) Contributions to help cover the costs will be requested Friday night Venue: a surprise! Lucy will be organizing a safari supper. A chance to enjoy a meal and get to know new people from the church community. Please sign up if you can offer a starter, main meal or pudding for a group of 6 - 8 people. Lucy will coordinate groups and special diets at each home. We will all gather at The Vicarage for coffee and chocolate at the end of the evening. Saturday Venue: The Village Hall 8.30am Prayer breakfast at the village Hall 10am Worship time followed by the morning teaching 12.45 Lunch break and lunch together 2pm Afternoon teaching 4pm Creative workshops – using some of our talents… a nature walk, photography, circus skills, board games, music, a chance for prayer ministry… speak to Selina or Jill of you can offer a workshop 6pm supper together In the evening we will enjoy some time together in worship and prayer, an auction of promises, and anything else we think of that shares and celebrates our talents and praises our God!!
