Over 150 people gathered to mark Remembrance Day at St Mary's Church and at the War Memorial in Uffculme yesterday.

Major Arthur Norman-Walker gave the address at St Mary's and talked about the impact of war on members of the armed forces but their also families and children, and of course the victims of war.

There was a procession to the War Memorial before holding silence at 11am. Wreaths were laid by representatives from the community.
